DAY 1 • Welcome to Alaska!

Night Stop: Anchorage // Arctic Fox B&B
Glaciers and ice and mountains, oh my!
You made it! This is just the beginning of our unforgettable Alaska adventure - let’s make some memories! Today, we will meet for a delightful breakfast at the world-famous Snow City Cafe, and then head out to tour through Anchorage and the surrounding areas. Our evening will consist of a great meal, a few drinks, and the local wildlife/nightlife.

DAY 2 • Anchorage - Talkeetna
Wednesday, September 2, 2020
Night Stop: Talkeetna // Talkeetna Inn
It’s time to leave the “big city”! In true Alaska fashion, we head North to the Future on today’s journey. We will make a few stops along the shorter drive (in AK terms), arriving in historic and marvelous Talkeetna. This tiny town boasts 876 year-round residents, has a cat for a mayor, is the inspiration for the town in Northern Exposure, as well as the base camp for those attempting to conquer Denali. Weather permitting, we will take a breathtaking flight over Denali NP and land on a glacier - giving us incredible photo opportunities and an experience of a lifetime! We will also have time to explore the many boutiques, restaurants, and bars Talkeetna has to offer today and tomorrow morning.

DAY 3 • Talkeetna - Denali NP
Thursday, September 3, 2020
Night Stop: Denali NP // Denali Hostel & Cabins
Another amazing day awaits us! This morning, you will have a leisurely breakfast and explore town before boarding the historic Alaska Railroad on your scenic trip up to Denali NP. Your trusty guide, Amy, will drive up the highway and meet you at the railroad depot inside the park that afternoon. We will then spend the remainder of the afternoon checking out the visitor center and viewing the park film. That evening we will enjoy a lovely meal in Healy - where you can explore the replica bus from Into the Wild - and then get a good night’s sleep - tomorrow is a huge day!
